The Sunshine Statesmen Barbershop Chorus was formed 12 years ago when the two original members, who shared an interest in Barbershop a capella singing decided to form a quartet. After advertising, the response was so overwhelming that they ended up with a chorus.

Over the years we have had the pleasure of singing at conventions in Canberra, Sydney, Auckland and Melbourne, as well as entertaining in and around the Sunshine Coast.

Through our parent bodies, that you will find on our links page, we have access to educators and various teaching aids that will enable anyone who can hold a tune and sing in pitch, to sing in a four part harmony song. So why not join an eighty thousand strong, world wide, singing fraternity.
